Program rules
Qualification
An activation qualifies only when a legitimate local business without a prior owner on Merber signs up through your link, its owner or authorized manager is verified and linked, and its profile reaches the required completion level.
Verification
Every referral is reviewed by Merber. We may ask for information to confirm a business or its contact is real and authorized.
Fraud
Fake businesses, fake accounts, manipulated signups or misleading activity are not allowed and lead to rejection and suspension.
Duplicate referrals
Each business can only have one originating partner. The first valid referral wins and can't be replaced.
Self-referrals
Referring a business you own or manage, or using your own contact details, is not eligible.
How earnings work
Every 5 Qualified Activations earn $25, counted in groups of 5. A referred qualified business that becomes an eligible paying customer earns an extra $10, once per business — renewals, free or complimentary plans and failed payments don't count. Reaching 10 Qualified Activations within 30 days earns an extra $25 bonus, once per qualifying set. Raw signups do not earn payouts.
Payout eligibility
Only approved earnings are paid. Amounts are set by Merber at the time each earning is created and may change for future earnings.
Independent participation
The Merber Local Partner Program is designed as an independent referral opportunity and is subject to the Program Terms and applicable law. No hours are assigned. Final program terms will address the formal relationship.
Account suspension
Merber may suspend or end a partner account for rule violations. Suspended partners' links stop tracking new referrals.
Reversals
Earnings tied to invalid, duplicate or fraudulent activity can be reversed, including after approval.
No guaranteed earnings
Participation does not guarantee any income.
Representing Merber
You may not make promises on behalf of Merber beyond approved materials, and you may not mislead business owners.
No guaranteed results
Never promise businesses guaranteed customers, revenue, ratings or results. Merber businesses never pay for better ratings.
